I’m looking for decorative painting packets and Tole Paint supplies.?

I teach a decorative painting class and we are always looking for pattern packets and the best prices on paint supplies. Would appreciate any help we can get. Thanks

There are individual chapters of decorative painters throughout the US – and the world. If you live close to one you will find lots of kindred spirits. Most of the chapters have lending libraries with patterns and books from all the well known decorative painters. Look for your local chapter at http://decorativepainters.org/chapters/categories.php

There is a main convention for decorative painters every year through the Society of Decorative Painters – The next one will be in Wichita, Kansas in May 2010. There are several regional conferences as well. I know of ones in Columbus, Ohio, New England, and there is one in the Northwest region too. If you join a local chapter I’m sure they will help you find more. When you go to conventions you will find so much inspiration in the trade show!

Re Prices; When Michaels or Hobby Lobby have a sale on paint that’s great, BUT, they no longer stock all the colors so that’s really annoying. In addition to the sites others have listed, I like the Artist’s Club. http://www.artistsclub.com/
